Krrraaaccckkk

Eating biscotti and my tooth cracked in half. Called the dentist:
"Can I get in today to get this looked at?"
"No, but we can get you in Monday."
"Oh, ok. Can you recommend an emergency dental place?"
"Hmm, can you be here at 12:20?"

???

So I guess I'll get it looked at today. I purposefully did not tell them it was a tooth that had been root canal'd.

  1. Which part of "my tooth cracked in half" were they not understanding?

  2. Christopher Weeks I assume that's first line of defense against "EVERYTHING THAT'S HAPPENING TO ME IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYONE ELSE!" If I had said oh ok Monday then, probably not that urgent. My expectation is that they'll glue my tooth back together and set up a follow-up for more work. I just don't want to go through the weekend wondering if this has opened me up to infection or something. Like I sad, it's been root canal'd so there's no pain.

  3. Had that happen while on vacation. It sucked. I’m hillbilly enough without a missing front tooth.

  4. Cracked crowns suck so bad. Good luck getting it sorted out!

  5. I have a molar with the slightest little fracture line in it. I'm supposed to get it crowned but haven't yet. I was told that if it breaks in half, it gets pulled -- there's no way to repair it after that. I hope you have better luck.

  6. Yay, temp crown on Wednesday, permanent crown after that. No charge since they're blaming the crown material for failing.
